Welcome to our village fête or more specifically the website providing all the information about our gala event which is held annually in Wick at the heart of rural Worcestershire.

The 2012 event was held on Saturday 1st September and after all the rain of recent months, Wick was blessed with superb fête weather. After previous years of visits by Pirates and Cowboys, the theme for the event this year was:-

ALL OUR YESTERDAYS

embracing the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and for the younger ones the 90's and into the twenty first century!

In support of the 12th century St. Mary’s Church in Wick, the villagers, village clubs and societies worked together to create an annual fun gala for all the family.
As always a vast array of entertainment, stalls, games, prizes galore, competitions and live music was on offer for the young and not so young, Excellent teas (with great cakes!) were served in Wyke Manor gardens, and other scrumptious food, drinks and ice creams made Wick fête a lovely afternoon retreat. Please view this website’s other pages for more details of our 2012 event. But most of all……

Keep an eye on this website and look out for what we have on offer for 2013.

Opening

Robert Fripp of King Crimson fame opened the fête with the
assistance of our local Pershore town crier.
